Rosanna Marie Gonsalves

Rosanna entered into eternal rest on May 24, 2017 after a long illness in Fort Myers Fl. Rosanna was born in Burlington Vermont on April 18th, 1940 to Earl Gordon Stowell Sr. and Harriet Allen Gebicke. At the age of 18 Rosanna moved to New Haven CT and she resided there until moving to Florida in 1993 for the remainder of her life. She married Pearl Otis Buster Cooper in 1960 and had 3 Children Charles Otis Cooper, Harriet Kathleen Thompson, and Mabel Christine Wynn. Rosanna later remarried August Pires Gonsalves. She was a long time employee of Simms Intertech until retirement.

Rosanna is survived by son Charles Cooper (Maritza), daughters Kathleen Thompson & Crissy Wynn, 9 grandkids Latisha, Rebeca, Christina, Charlene, George III (Sonny), Johnny, Shajuanna, Victoria, Charles Jr, and 20 great grandkids. Son in laws George Thompson Jr. Step-children Johnny Green, Dawn Gause, and Patricia Cooper. 7 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents Earl and Harriet, Earl Gordon Stowell Jr.(brother), Mabel Gebicke (aunt), Pearl Otis Buster Cooper (spouse), August Gonsalves (spouse), Kendrick Otis Franklyn Wynn (grandson).

A visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Ft Myers, FL 33913 on Sunday, May 28th from 3pm till the time of the funeral service at 4pm. Info 239-334-4880.
