Rose was first married to Joe Ragusa on June 25 1955, and then separated in 1961. After leading separate lives they reunited 48 years later, in 2009. Rose and Joe remarried on February 22, 2014.
Rose's favorite color was red, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, Joe, and singing to the music on the radio. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents Carmine and Lucy; her siblings Lucy, Claria, Anntonette, Nick, Rocco, and John; and her late husband Vincent Scavera. Rose is survived by her husband Joe Ragusa; her brother Carmine Della Salla; her son and wife, Carmine and Rosemary Scavera; and her daughter, Jennifer Scavera.
