
Rubina Grosso, born September 6, 1929 at Boulevard Hospital in Astoria. Rubina worked for Regal Papers (which later became later Rexham) as Executive Secretary and corporate officer and moved with the company from New York City to Charlotte North Carolina in 1984. Rubina spent many years traveling for the company. Rubina would always bring home a 'trinket' or two from her travels to share with her family. Rubina worked on the 80th floor of the Empire State Building (at that time the largest building in the world) and loved to entertain her niece and nephews when they would visit the City with friends or classmates. Rubina retired in 1990 and enjoyed retired life in Charlotte, NC and her beach home in Ridgefield, South Carolina. In 2011 Rubina moved to Ft Myers, Florida to be closer to her family. Rubina enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and a cold glass of wine at 5 pm.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 S.R. 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913 on Monday, March 3rd from 9:30 AM - 10:00AM. Funeral service will follow at 10 AM along with burial at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. Gifts should be made payable to the CentraState Healthcare Foundation, 916 Route 33, Suite 6, Freehold, NJ 07728.
