Thomas Joseph Singel

Thomas Singel, 77, of Ft. Myers, FL, lost his battle against many severe illnesses endured over the last several years, on August 15, 2015 at Hope Hospice House, Health Park, FL. Barbara, his beloved wife and his step-daughter, Catherine, were at his side. Tom leaves behind his wife, Barbara, Ft. Myers, brother, Daniel (Mary) of Arlington, TX, brother, Robert (Mary Ann), of Dunwoody, GA and Ft. Myers, four step-children and 11 step-grandchildren. Tom had many wonderful friends and loving relatives. Tom, born in Evansville,IN, attended St. Edwards University and was a graduate of The Chicago Institute of Art. He spent many years as an office furniture designer. His spirit lives on in the many original pen and ink drawings and oil paintings he left behind, as well as his love for music and his model train collection. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, followed by a private burial in the St. Columbkille Catholic Cemetery.
