Vivian was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Lloveras Oronce and mother, Helen Aviles-Cruz. She is survived by her sister, Jeannie Lloveras de Bouet (Albert); niece, Jean Yvette Bouet; nephew, Angel Alberto Bouet (Cindy); her former spouse, Robert M. Williams, III; sisters-in-law, Avanah Jent (Jim); Sandy Williams; and Georgianna McDaniel (Dawson). She leaves behind many extended family members and friends.
She was an honor student all through school, and an eloquent writer in Spanish and English. In addition to her love for animals, especially cats, she always enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing, and music.
Vivian obtained her Masters in Social Work from the University of Puerto Rico. Her entire career was within the social and human services field. She held positions as a direct service worker as well as social services administration in San Juan, New York City, and Fort Myers. She retired from the Area Agency on Aging and spent her whole life dedicated to helping others. In her words, “I love people.”
For the past two years, Vivian was supported by Cypress at Home. Louisa, and Vivian’s exceptional caregiver, Delma, became a very special part of her life and family. Special appreciation is extended to the compassionate and caring employees of Brookdale at The Colony, Lehigh Acres Hospice, and her dear friends and neighbors on Delaware Road.
Her final resting place is Lee Memorial Park. A private celebration of life has been planned. Memorial donations in Vivian’s memory may be directed to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908 or a charity of your choice.
