Warren Douglas Satterfield, 69, of Lehigh Acres passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Lehigh Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born March 23, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA to Paul and Elizabeth Satterfield. He was a US Coast Guard veteran. He married the love of his life, Catherine H. Price Greisinger in Pittsburgh on December 8, 1984 after only a few months of dating. He was a avid Steelers fan. Warren loved working for Southwest Florida International airport returning lost luggage to passengers.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; children: Wendy (Dennis) Dixon and Danielle Valentine; grandchildren: Michael Roberts, Madison Roberts, Maggie Roberts, Melissa Dixon, CJ Roberts, Isabella Dixon, MacKenzie Smith and Emma Catherine Dixon; brother, James (Jeannie) Satterfield; sister-in-law, Jean Satterfield and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Catherine H. Greisinger, grandson, Brandon Satterfield, brother, Paul Satterfield and his parents.
The visitation will be held from 2 to 7 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers. The funeral service will be at 2 pm Thursday, January 4, 2017 at the funeral home. Info (239) 334-4880
