

William (Bill) Crane Conrad, age 89, of North Fort Myers, FL, and most recently Bonita Springs, FL, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Dunkirk, New York on December 15, 1931 to Eugene and Helen (Crane) Conrad.
Bill served as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was known for his love of cars, boating and fishing, and roller skating. He was a happy, good natured man, filled with a zest for life, even naming his boats “Tons-A-Fun”. He continued to roller skate with a partner into his 80’s.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Jean Ingham; his second wife, Doris Craige; his sister, Carol Martin; and his beloved dog, Sparky.
Bill is survived by his three daughters: Patricia Tatro and husband Laurence of Andover, MA; Shirley Conrad of Lake Mary, FL; and Carol Long and husband Joseph of Bonita Springs, FL; grandchildren: Brittany Tatro and husband Robert Miller, Wil Eckes and wife Kama Guezalova, and Cole Eckes; along with three great grandchildren: Wesley, Rhett and Eliza. In addition, Bill is also survived by his sister Natalie Diederich and her husband James of Dayton, OH, along with ten nieces and nephews.
A private family service will take place at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, Ft. Myers, FL.
