She was well loved by her friends, and she had many in her lifetime, and by those that knew her even a little were left an impression that she was very sweet. She was also straightforward and disciplined and took care of business and never slacked off.
She loved my dad, her husband of 60 + years and visited him every day in the last seven years of his life when he was stricken with dementia in a health care facility.
She loved her two children and lived for them-that was unwavering no matter what. No doubt it extended her life beyond what was expected medically. I have many happy memories of my childhood with her and many cherished times as an adult. Her strong constitution and will was a gift that gave us the additional time we had with her on this earth and peace in her passing.
Peace my heart, let the time for the parting be sweet. Let it not be death but completeness.
Let love melt into memory and pain into songs.
All my love,
Tom
