Carolyn was born on June 25, 1936 in Noble, Illinois to Patrick and Mary Pruden. She has been a resident of Fort Pierce for the past 49 years moving here from Leesburg, FL. Prior to her retirement she was the secretary for her family’s business, Pruden Septic Tank Service in Fort Pierce for 40 years. She was the Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, Past President of the Lioness, and a 34 year member of the Lions Club, Melvin Jones Recipient, and a lifetime member of the Submarine Auxillary. Carolyn was also a member of Southside Christian Church.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 12 years, William G. Puls Jr; stepchildren Douglas Puls of Levittown, PA, Cris Puls of Patchogue, NY, Jodi Puls of Lake City, FL, and Jessica Puls of Lake City, FL; and 5 grandchildren
Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 am, with a service beginning at 11 a on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 North US Highway #1, Fort Pierce 34946. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
