

Born in New York City, NY she has been a resident of Fort Pierce, FL for the past 33 years, formerly of Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
Prior to retirement, she worked at FP&L at the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant. She was the secretary and Vice President at the Elkettes of Fort Pierce, FL, she volunteered at the Cancer Society in Engle Cliff, NJ, she was a member of the Ladies of the Lake in Tallman, NY, she was a member of the Red Hat Society in Fort Pierce, FL, the Spanish Lakes Fairway chorus. She also enjoyed playing cards, bocci ball, bunco, traveling and she visited nearly all of the National Parks.
Survivors include, husband of 68 years, Anthony Sorrentino, of Fort Pierce, FL, daughters, Diane Sorrentino, of Spokane, WA and Toni Tonioto, of Merrimack, NH , 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Piece, FL from 5:00-7:00pm, with a prayer service at 5:30pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, Fort Pierce, FL on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 10:00am. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
