He was born in Peoria, IL, he has been a resident of Ft Pierce, FL for the past 24 years, coming from Ft Lauderdale, FL.
Duane was a United States Army veteran, serving in World War II.
Prior to retirement, he worked as a supervisor for Perko Inc in Miami, FL for 16 years and he also enjoyed building model ships.
Survivors include his son; George R. Lange of Miramar, FL, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years George Ann Lange.

A memorial service will be held on March 19th at 1:00pm, at Lakewood Park United Methodist Church, Ft Pierce, FL.
