"Jennifer, I was so lucky to have worked with Edie at the Beach Shop. My time there has been memorable and I know that all that worked there looked forward to when she came Mon, Wed, and Fri. She truly was a gifted, wonderful woman who touched many lives and will be well remembered.

Jennifer and Family.   I was sorry to learn of your Grandmothers death.  I would stop in and see her when I was riding my bike. She was a wonderful person. i think your memorial service is tomorrow, thursday, although i cant be there in person, my mind and heart will be. i will always love you i told you many times that u are my second mother, u were always there to help me during my childhood years and even in my adult years. your smiling face and warm heart will be missed so much by me. i wil miss the closeness we had and the wonderful way u always thought of me and cared about me.....i know u are at peace now and knowing that u are with your family, mr. martin clyde and nadine gives me peace of mind ..i love you bunny goldstein

i knew mrs. martin 65 of my 70 years she and mr. martin and nadine and clyde lived next door to us. she was like a second mother to me i was more in her house than i was in my own. i grew up with nadine and knew clyde all his life. i can still see him jumping up and down in his crib. two years ago i went down to visit mrs. martin and i am so glad that i did.
i found out today when i called to wish her a happy holiday and was told. another tear in my heart that wont mend. 
she and i were very close and i will miss her for the rest of my life  .. u are at your peace mrs. martin u are  where u have wanted to be for a long time.

Jennifer and Family.  I was very saddened to hear about your grandmothers passing.  Edith was a very special person.  She and your late grandfather, Havis, lived next door to my parents and I in the late 1940's!  Your late mom, Nadine, and your late Uncle Clyde were my playmates.  Your grandmother's loving presence, joy and inspriation will continue to live in my memory.  I feel blessed to have known her and together with my late parents we were able to stay in touch with her for over 60 years.  My husband and I visited with her and enjoyed taking her to her favorite seafood restaurant in Ft. Pierce.  May your own happy memories be a source of comfort to you now.
