Edith was born in Bronx, NY and has been a resident of Fort Pierce for the past thirty seven years, coming from New York.
Prior to retirement, Edith was a seamstress for the Beach Shop in Vero Beach for thirty seven years. She was formally the co- owner of JEN Casual Wear of Vero Beach. Edith enjoyed baking and cooking. She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her grandaughter, Jennifer McLean of Mount Kisco, NY and two great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Havis Martin, son, Clyde A. Martin and daughter, Nadine Goldstein.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL. Inurnment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
