Elizabeth Ann Desorda

Elizabeth (Betty) Desorda passed away of natural causes on April 22, 2026 at the age of 97. She is survived by her sons Bruce Desorda (Roni) and Mark Desorda, and her daughter Lori Halula (Jim); 4 grandchildren (Michele, Lisa (Junior), Brian (Rachel) and Jennifer); 7 great grandchildren (Brittany (Precious), Cameron, Kobie, Kaitlyn, Connor, Eva and Alexa); 2 great, great grandchildren (Chastain and Harlow) and her sister Sandra (Jean) Richling. She was born in Burlington, VT, met our dad when working at Henry’s Diner and they married in 1947. They enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 60 years before his passing in 2007. For the last 7 years she’s been living in North Carolina close to her daughter. Her family and faith were at the core of who she was and how she lived her life. She had a wonderful sense of humor, even up until a few days before her death. She loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed bowling, dancing with our dad, golf, going to the casino, playing cards and Bingo. In lieu of flowers, please offer a mass in her name or make a donation to your local Hospice. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7)

A Funeral Service will be held at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 N US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946, US, on May 1, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am. A Committal Service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 North Us Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946, US, on May 1, 2026, from 11:45 am to 12:00 pm.
