

Born in Cleveland Heights, OH, she moved to Vero Beach, FL from Shaker Heights, OH 29 years ago.
Helen was a graduate of Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia, PA and Wellesley College. She was an editorial researcher for Time magazine in New York, NY for 2 years. Helen was a member of The Country Club of Cleveland, OH where she served as the head of the Golf Association. She was also a member of the Moorings Club where she was on the Board of Governors and Hawk’s Nest both of Vero Beach. She served as president of the Cleveland Wellesley Alumnae Club. She was a former member of the Junior League of Cleveland and a member of the Community Church, Vero Beach.
She is survived by her son Joseph Fewsmith, III, of Cohasset, MA, daughter, Virginia F. McBride, of Climax, GA, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Joseph Fewsmith, Jr. and her sister, Dorothy V. Gilbert.
There will be a celebration of her life at a later date. Burial will be in Cleveland, OH.
