

Lillian was born in East Islip, NY. She has been a resident of Vero Beach for the past 25 years coming from Syosset, NY.
She attended New York University, received her Bachelor degree at the University of Miami and her Masters in Education from Hofstra University, Long Island New York. Lillian was a teacher in the Massapequa School District, Long Island NY for 25 years.
Some people might also remember Lillian for her performance some years ago as a matchmaker in a Vero Beach Theatre Guild performance in "Crossing Delancy" for which Lillian won a Genie Award for best new actor or actress.
Lillian was of the Jewish faith and a member of the Indian River Chapter of Hadassah.
Lillian was a member of the Indian River Medical Auxiliary of Vero Beach, the Friendship Club, the International Club of Vero Beach, Widows and Widowers of Vero Beach. She was formerly a member and officer of Parents without Partners in NY and IOTA ALPHA PI Sorority. Lillian had also volunteered at the Beachland Elementary School.
Survivors include her sons, Jonathan Landers of Rye, NH, Lance Landers of New York, NY, Scott Landers of San Diego, CA and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Jerry.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00pm Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce FL.
