Lois was born in Fort Pierce, FL and has been a resident of Florida for her entire life.
Prior to retirement, she was a cosmetologist at Eckerds Drugs and she also worked for Wal-Mart in Vero Beach for 10 years. Lois was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Buhr, Julia Englehart, Sandra Kouns, all of Vero Beach, Cynthia Kapcar, of Fort Pierce, and son, Ted Reed, of Vero Beach, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reed.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL with the Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
