Martha "Marla" Egers

Martha “Marla” Egers, age 44 from Fort Pierce, Florida passed away Friday September 24, 2021. She graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School in 1995. She also, took several classes at Indian River State College.

Marla worked for The St. Lucie County Clerk’s Office in the Family Relations & Probate Departments as a Deputy Clerk going on eight years. She loved her job, co-workers and thought of them as her second family.

Some of Marla’s favorite things were: spending time with her children, enjoyed all the times she spent with all her family members and friends. She loved watching TV & going to the Movies (she could tell you all the best TV shows & Movies to watch). She enjoyed eating out at different restaurants and (could tell you where all the best restaurants where on the Treasure Coast, Palm Beach County and Orlando). She also, enjoyed shopping, going to the beach and traveling to different places in Florida with family & friends.

Marla was the kind of person that would give you her last dime or the shirt off her back. She was a proud mother, loving daughter and granddaughter. She cherished all her family members and friends. She never thought of herself, she loved and cared about everyone. If she was your friend you were her friend for life. Her life ambitions were to be the best Mom to her children, make everyone happy, laugh, and enjoy life. One of her favorite sayings was; I wish everyone would learn to treat each other as they would like to be treated and this world would be a better place.

Marla is survived by her two children; Nicholas & Megan Fisher (their father Michael Fisher), her Mother-Cindy Clark, Father-Eddie Egers, Step/Father-David Clark, Eddie’s Partner-Maureen McDevitt, Sister-Linda Leitner, Brother-In-Law-Harold Leitner, Two Step/Sisters- Chris Warner and Amanda Clark. Grandparents; Martin & Martha Herndon and Edward & Lanette Egers, Step/Grandparents John & Marlene Clark, numerous Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Marla’s funeral service will be on Saturday October 2, 2021 at Aycock Funeral Home & Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 North US Highway #1, Fort Pierce, Florida 34946, (772) 461-8912, www.aycock-hillcrest.com for the Clark & Egers family.

Viewing is schedule at 10:00am to 11:00am. Funeral Service begins at 11:00am, followed by a grave side service. The family has invited everyone for a gathering after the graveside service.
