

She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 22, 1927. She loved her Boston roots and was a graduate of Emmanuel College. She also was an Intelligence Officer in the Navy. She received an honorable discharge. She was married to naval pilot, George J. Haluska.
She is pre-deceased by her husband, George J. Haluska, son Michael G. Haluska, daughter Marya S. Haluska, brothers Harold and Frank, sisters Kathleen, Helen, and Sara. She is survived by her sons: Richard Christopher Haluska and Gregory John Haluska, four grandchildren: David Haluska, Nathan Haluska, Michelle Haluska, and Melissa Haluska, eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was full of life and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved company visits from family and had an interesting life and naval stories to tell. She enjoyed laughter and great conversation along with a glass of wine with her friends and family. She had a great love of the ocean, reading books, enjoying a night at the ballet, arts and theater. During her earlier years, she had traveled and lived throughout the United States and Europe. Her family and friends will miss her warm bubbly personality and the stories she had to tell.
Arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Homes in Fort Pierce, Florida. A Mass will be held at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Vero Beach, Florida.
