Born in Worcester, MA he has been a resident of Fort Pierce for 17 years formerly of Worcester, MA.
Prior to retirement Michael worked in the Maintenance Department for the city of Worcester, MA for 10 years.
Michael was a member of the St. Anastasia Catholic Church. He was a member of the Spanish Lakes Golf Club and the New England Club and he enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Kathy, brothers, Edward Colbert of Fort Pierce, FL, John Colbert of West Boylston, MA and sister, Virginia Swanski of Fort Pierce, FL.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 4-7pm at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce FL. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30am on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, FL.
