Born in Fort Pierce, FL Michael has been a lifelong resident.
Michael worked at the Nuclear Power Plant for 15 years before becoming the associate Pastor of The Crossings Community Church, Fort Pierce, FL for the past 7 years. Michael loved classic cars and was a music enthusiast.
Survivors include, wife of 16 years, Sandy Lane, of Fort Pierce, FL, daughters, Kristen and Jenna Lane, mother and step-father, Martha and Roy Burkhalter , father, Joe Lane, grandmother, Mary F. Miller, sister, Missy Lane Merritt, half-sister, Evie Lane Barrett, step-brother, Josh Lane, multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 4:00-6:00pm at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL, with a prayer service at 6:00pm, with Rev. Craig Bridgers officiating. Funeral services will be private on Friday, October 21, 2011 with interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
