Ruth V Eckman

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ruth lived in Florence, Kentucky until 1975 when she moved to Fort Pierce. She was a homemaker that was devoted to her family. Ruth had been a member of the Worldwide Church of God since 1962.

Survivors include her sons David Eckman and his wife Christine of Fullerton, CA, and Rodney Eckman of Florence, KY; daughter Becky Silver and her husband Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; devoted sister Marion Fama of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren Tyler Benjamin Silver, Michael David Eckman, Dwight Eckman, DeeDee Eckman, and Darby Steele, and great grandchildren Tucker Steele, Camden Steele, Wyatt Steele, Rhett Steele, Hunter Freeman, Fisher Freeman, Sydney Eckman, Dominic Eckman, and Amelia Eckman. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin F. Eckman and her daughter in law Dale Eckman.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 2 pm, on Monday, November 7, 2011, at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 North US Highway One in Fort Pierce. Entombment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are under the care of Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL.
