Shirley was born in Jamaica, NY and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for 15 years coming from Robinsville, NC.
Shirley was a foster parent and had volunteered for the Save the Children Foundation. Shirley enjoyed entertaining and was an avid bridge player. She was of the Christian faith.
Shirley was survived by her daughters, Linda Miller, of Fort Pierce, FL, Dianne Crossman, of Dacula, GA; 1 grandchild and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fuss.
A Celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Lynmoore at Lawnwood Assisted Living Facility in Fort Pierce,FL.
