Thomas was born in Spokane, WA and has been a resident of Vero Beach, FL for the past 38 years coming from Detroit, MI.
Prior to retirement Thomas was a vinyl chemist for Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI for 30 years. He was a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL. Thomas enjoyed fishing, crabbing and shrimping. He also enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include his wife of 75 years, Frances Jolley of Vero Beach, FL, daughters Jan Anderson of Garden City, MI, Cheri Griffin of Vero Beach, FL, five grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Monday, June 17, 2013 6:00-8:00pm at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10:00am at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, Vero Beach, FL. Interment will take place in Garden City, MI.
