John was predeceased by his parents, John and Barbara Gibson, one great grandson Elijah and two sisters Donna and Debbie.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret and their family: Jay (Donna) and their family Kyle and Breanna (Taylor), Rodney (Karen) and their family Kari-Lyne (Lyndon), Kyla-Anne (Daniel) and their daughter Rin; Bonny (Blain) and their family Amy (Chris) and their children Xander, Maria and Blair, Chantel(Ryan) and their daughter Zoee, Stephannie and Wesley; Clayton (Debbie) and their family Cody and Brady (Kennedy); his five brother: Ken, Bob, Leonard, Dale and Randy, four sisters: June, Ruth, Gail, Joan and numerous nieces and nephews.
