

Ken was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn (Regel) Osika; his parents Stanley and Louise (Myslinski) Osika; his sisters: Chris Fairbairn, Terry Osika, Jean Malm, Sally Jaworski and Rita Osika; his brothers-in- law: George Fairbairn, John Malm, Tony Jaworski and Walter Slywka; his sister-in law Leta Osika.
Ken is survived by his three children: Lianne (Darcy) Cretin, Sheila (Ron) Loos and Ken (Dawna) Osika; his nine grandchildren: Charlene (Dallas) Cossar, Andrew (Taylor) Cretin, Colleen (Ryan) Cretin, Jacob (Angélique) Loos, Amanda Loos, Brittany Rae Housemen (Jessy), Amber Osika, Gregory Osika and Jonathon Osika; his great-grandchildren Nahlah, Kyra, Tucker, Carter; his siblings: Rose Slywka, Greg Osika, Vicky Osika and Rita Osika; his brother-in law Frank (Debbie) Regel and sister-in law Betty (Gordon) Barnes; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ken was born on July 4, 1943 on the farm near Bankend, SK. He was the sixth child and the eldest son of Stanley and Louise Osika. Ken was a loving father and husband and his family was his pride and joy. Ken’s strong work ethic, devout faithfulness, and connection to the land, contributed to a life well lived.
A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in Tubman Funeral Home, Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Adelberto (Bert) Lilo on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Regina General Hospital and All Nations Healing Hospital for the wonderful care given to Ken during his stay with them.
