Micheal Eithan Kahnapace Jr.

Predeceased by his paternal great-grandmother Gladys Stonechild; paternal great-grandfather William Herald; maternal great-grandfather William Pasqua; maternal grandparents Dianne Obey and Aaron Keepness; paternal grandfather Roddy McKay Sr. and baby sister in infancy; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention who passed on before him.

Micheal is survived by his parents Micheal Kahnapace Sr; Amanda (Keith Pinacie); great-grandmother Margaret Obey; his only son Teegan Blacksouix; siblings: Alethea, Malachi, Alexis, Aaron, Kalissa and stepbrother Easton Pinacie; Kukom Ronda McKay; two nieces Nasya-Lynn and Ryah. Special friends he called his brothers: Nayo Fox, Leroy Redwood, Ty Crane, Austin Morin and Justice Morin; adopted family Tina and Megan Prettyshield and extended family and friends too numerous to mention.

Out of respect for Micheal’s parents and family, please refrain from attending services under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

The wake was held in Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service was held in Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Alvin Manitopyes officiating. The interment took place in the Obey Family Cemetery.
