I am so sorry for your loss.  My thoughts are with you & your families. The kids & I have many happy memories of time spent at your beautiful farm. Pat will be in our hearts forever.

My dear sister Pat, as you travelled along life's highway you were the source of so many treasured memories of the wonderful times we were able to share both together and with others.. Those  memories are indelible and cannot be erased.

I Remember - a joyous infant, coming to join out household and having everyone vying for your attention, Your presence also established a numerical balance - now there was 3 girls to counter the three older boys.

I Remember - A very young child that was kind, caring, thoughful and always ready to help no matter what the task. Always smiling, never a frown, never down. A joy to be arouind.

I Remember - A young teenager, on a summer vacation, that all alone, travelled from her home to visit her big brother in Ontario. Your wonderment at the many sights never ceased to capture your interest  and your highlight was always the visit to Montreal and Expo 67. What a delight it was to have you along for the journey.

I Remember - that growing up you had always lived in a town or the city. As a new bride, you were introduced to farm life and thus began a lifelong love of the land and animals. That love never diminished and you were never happier than when you were at home on your beloved farm.

I Remember - As a young farm wife how you so eagerly cooked a farm dinner for your father and I when we visited, and then proudly announced that the oh-so-good sausages were totally prepared on your own farm.. Yes, we were both very proud of you too and to this day, I still can recall that wonderfully delicious meal.

I Remember- as adults, how, on a sunny Sunday morning, many of the brothers and sisters got to-gether for a brunch and had a whole section of a restaurant patio to ourselves. What a time we had reminiscing and laughing and telling stories about times gone by. It was a rare and cherished time for so many of us to be together.

I Remember - how as a mature mother you would forward us regular e-mails. Never a break for a paragragh - the news just gushed out in one long enthusiastic continuous stream but it was oh so good to receive.

YES, I REMEMBER - AND I SHALL NEVER FORGET.
