

Paul was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, to John and Dorothy Smith. Paul will be sadly missed by many and he will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Predeceased by his father John Smith and nephew Curtis Ross.
Survived by his mother Dorothy Smith (Klein), Fort Qu’Appelle, SK; sister Kathy (Ron) Loverin, Lac Pelletier, SK and their children Ashley (Beau) Switzer, Lac Pelletier, Mindy Loverin, Toronto, ON, Tanner (Jordan) Loverin, Emerald Park, SK; sister Laura (Dave) Ross, Fort Qu’Appelle and their son, Jaret (Regan) Ross, Cupar, SK; brother Mike (Angie) Smith, Fort Qu’Appelle and their children Owen (Mercedes) Smith, Fort Qu’Appelle, Lyndon (Shaylyn) Smith, Fort Qu’Appelle and great nieces and nephews: Tate, Tilly, Walker, Harlow, Jasper, Piper, Bohdi, Berkely, Sage, Ren, Jed, and Levvy.
The Smith family lived in Regina, Sask., from 1955-1962, then moved to Dilke, Sask., and resided there until 1970. They then moved to Fort Qu’Appelle, Sask., where Paul graduated from Bert Fox High School in 1973. He began his successful construction business in 1976 and has operated it until the present. Paul resided in Fort Qu’Appelle, Sask., until his passing.
Paul had many interests and hobbies, among the most important were wildlife conservation, hunting, fishing, gardening, reading, and socializing with friends. He loved to play and watch baseball and curling.
A celebration of Paul’s life was held at Mission Ridge Winter Park in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date.
