He was predeceased by his parents Blakely Robert Polley and Viola Polley and brother Murray Dwight Polley.
Roy is survived by his son Justin Roy Polley; sister Nora Doreen Dirks, sisters-in-law Darlene Shiu and Irene (Dino) Schlizza along with numerous friends.
A funeral mass was celebrated in Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church in Fort Qu’Appelle on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. by Very Rev. Dennis Remot. The pallbearers were: Bill Mytopher, Adrian Lafontaine, Nino Caneda, Con Gherasim, Norbert Kirsch and John Koolen.
The interment took place in Lakeview Cemetery.
