It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christine, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Christine passed away surrounded by the family she cherished, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Born and raised in Revelstoke, Christine carried her small-town roots with her throughout her life. She had a deep connection to nature and found her greatest joy on her farm, tending to her animals and the land she adored. Her gentle, patient spirit made her a natural caretaker—whether she was bottle-feeding animals, nurturing her gardens, or welcoming visitors with warmth and generosity.
Christine was also a talented seamstress, known for her meticulous stitching, creativity, and the many handmade treasures she shared with family and friends. Sewing was more than a hobby for her—it was an expression of love.
Christine is survived by her devoted husband, James Fedyniak; and their loving children, Jason Fedyniak and Amanda (Nick) Schickerowsky; and the extended family they built together.
She will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Hailey Fedyniak, Carson (Morgan) Schickerowsky, Morgan Fedyniak, Carter Schickerowsky, and James Schickerowsky; as well as her cherished bonus grandchildren, Caelan, Damien, and Deanna.
Christine’s gentle heart, steady guidance, and joyful laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the traditions she created, and the love she poured so freely into her family.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the serenity she loved so dearly.
