Born in Berlin, Germany in 1934, Irma immigrated to Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan where she met her husband John before settling in Fort Saskatchewan in 1957. Irma loved spending time with her family, enjoyed traveling and always had a camera in hand to capture the special moments. She was an active member of the Fort Saskatchewan community volunteering for Meals on Wheels and other charities through the church. She is survived by her sister Mary Cranston, sons Peter (Katie) and Rob (Dawnel) and was the caring grandmother to Jenna, Tyler, Jared, Zoe and Kieran and great grandmother to Cobra and Riley. Irma was predeceased by her husband John Kraus and sister Ruth Kennedy. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church located at 9909 - 90 St, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta on Friday March 3, 2023 at 1p.m.
