I am so sorry to hear of Karl's passing. Karl was always lots of fun to be around. Heaven is getting a welcome new member.

Sorry I just found out of Karl's passing and so missed the service

I'm so sorry for your loss. Karl was one of the kindest and most genuine men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I can still picture Karl and Peggy together, and hear their laughter. Wonderful memories. Sending love and hugs to all of you.

My deepest sympathies to all the family! I haven't seen your dad in over 40 years but he left such a lasting impression and was so kind to us Dallow kids that we will never forget him!! Such fond memories of coming to visit Mr.Hanneman the Honeyman! I have shared with my own kids many times, my first experience with bees. Dad (Jim Dallow) had me on his shoulders as Karl lifted the top tray of the hive to show us inside the hive. After showing us the magnificent activity, he startled the bees when he accidently dropped a corner of the tray as he was replacing it. We all got stung and poor Karl got several...but we survived ;) Your dad felt so bad but it really was a great learning experience! We loved visiting your place and the gentle personality your dad shared with us kids! He helped shape our world and his love left an imprint on our hearts. God Bless Him! Hope He and Peggy are enjoying their reunion! This picture of your dad says it all...a happy and sweet man! May you all find comfort in memories of him at this sad time!

So very well I recall this gracious and genuine man. We were dear friends at the Cross Cancer Institute. Always, I recall Karl asking me if he could use my truck - a unique green gem I proudly drove to work.  I imagined he had to move some bee hives. Karl returned my truck. He said: "Lorna, that is a woman's truck - smells of Chanel #5". Always remember you. Lorna Wohlgemuth.

Karl was a wonderful man and treated everyone with great kindness and respect.  He will be missed dearly.   My deepest sympathy to Judy, Carol, David, Rick, Val, Donna and Sam who has lost not only a grandfather but a father figure.

My deepest condolences to Karl's family. He was a kind and considerate man. I listened to many of his stories and his words of wisdom I will remember for years to come. He will be missed by many of his friends. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember him.

 The bees introduced us to Karl's good humor and kind nature and endeared us to him.  Our coffee breaks in his "office" at Tim Horton's was a destination on trips to Edmonton.
Victor considered him "friend and mentor" Now they can continue their banter in the heavenly sphere.

My condolences to the Hannaman family. Karl was someone I was proud to call friend. Have many great memories of working the bees. Don't know anyone with more knowledge or love of beekeeping. He always had time to visit or for a flashe of beer. Thank you for your service to your country, Rest In Peace old friend. 
Sorry we can't make the service we are in Arizona until April.

A gentle soul ascended to heaven, leaving a lot of shared good memories in our hearts. His love to honey bees was unlimited. He was indeed an inspiration to us all. He is a great loss to all the people who know him. May his soul rest in peace.
