Les passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 82 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Trina (Dave) Brothers, Laurel Beck, Marlene (Dean) McMeekin, Heather (Joel) Hubert, Russ Jones, Allen Jones, and Stacy (Jeff) Cholowski; 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; aunt Mary as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his wife Mona, son Leslie, and parents Ken & Myrtle Owen.
A Celebration of Les’ Life will take place on Friday April 17, 2015 at First Memorial – Riverview Chapel, 11090 – 86 Avenue, Ft. Saskatchewan at 10:30 am. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service.
Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Edmonton.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Stecyk and the staff at Ft. Saskatchewan Community Hospital for the compassionate care received during Dad’s illness.
