Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Alex in 2005; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Carson in 2006; daughter, Louise Becker in 2009; and daughter, Karen Carson in 2014.
Margaret leaves to mourn her loss, her son, David of Calgary; son-in-law, Grant Becker; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Also to mourn her loss is her special “daughter” and caregiver, Joan Prochnau.
Margaret lived her life with such grace and truly loved those who cared for her. Margaret had a wicked sense of humour and loved to joke around.
A deep and heartfelt thanks to all the staff and volunteers at St. Joseph’s Auxillary Hospital in Edmonton, who selflessly gave of themselves to brighten her days before and during Covid.
