Mrs. Mavis Lillie Pearson, late of Fort Saskatchewan, formerly of Abee, AB, passed away quietly on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her loving family; her husband of 58 years, Harold Pearson; their 5 children, Rick (Edith), Cathy (Al), Tim (Carry), Dean (Christine) Joanne (Ken); 13 grandchildren, Brad, Lindsey, Ben, Rachel, Lauretta, Joshua, Jessica, Kimberly, Christopher, Amy, Robert, Jeff, Janelle; and 21 great-grandchildren; her brothers, John (Joan) Sharpe and Jim (Lisa) Sharpe, many nieces and nephews as well as many dear family and friends. Mavis is predeceased by her parents, Eleanor and Lloyd Sharpe; and her sister, Sunni Glaze.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at Community Baptist Church 7810 95a Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, AB with Pastor Allen McPhedran officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations to reflect Mavis’s generous spirit gratefully appreciated directly to Operation Christmas Child, Samaritan’s Purse; or to the Quilts of Valour – Canada Society.
