It is with great sadness that the family of Robert John Logan announces his peaceful passing on December 15, 2013 at the age of 97 years. Robert is lovingly remembered by his family; daughter, Peg McPherson of St Albert, son, Ted (Leslie) Logan of Calgary; grandchildren, Craig (Bonnie) McPherson, Logan (Meagan) McPherson, Michael (Anne) Logan, Travis (Isabelle) Logan, and 8 beautiful great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Pat and his son-in-law, Neil McPherson.
Bob was an active member of the community of Fort Saskatchewan for many years. He was very involved in the Fort Saskatchewan Golf & Curling Club and Pioneer House. He will be remembered for his skills in golf, curling, snooker and card games. His positive attitude and sense of humour inspired his children and grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm at First Memorial Riverview Chapel, 11090 86 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fort Saskatchewan Pioneer House, 10102 100 Avenue, Ft Saskatchewan, AB T8L 1Y7.
