With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Stanley Phillips, loving brother and uncle, at the age of 87 years. His will be sadly missed by his sisters and brothers, Viola (Jay), Ruby (John), Sylvia, Iris, Doug (Joan) and Nigel (Helen) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Stan is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Ethel Aspeslet and two brothers, Anton and Lawrence.
Stan proudly served with the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II on HMCS Uganda, and was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 46 years. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 19 at 11:00 AM at First Memorial Harmony Chapel, 10541 - 81 Avenue, Edmonton.
