Alexis Johnson

It is with a great sadness that we announce that our beloved Alexis Anne Johnson of Fort Smith, AR passed away June 29, 2020 at the age of 27. Those whom she leaves to mourn are her mother Lynda Vaughn (Michael) of Oklahoma City, OK; her brother William Gibson of Northwest Arkansas; her aunt Tina Wilson & husband Ron of Fort Smith; and her aunt Melissa Wessels along with her cousins Eric & Katie Wessels of Stillwater, OK. She also leaves countless loving friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mary and Randall Johnson.

She was a 2011 graduate from the Benton County School of the Arts in Rogers where she was deeply involved in theatre, playing the lead in her senior play. She was passionate about fantasy, show tunes, and stage plays. She was bright, eloquent, understanding, charming, energetic, talkative, and beautiful. She was outgoing and made friends everywhere she went. If there are televisions in Heaven, she is probably watching Star Trek with her grandfather.

Memorial Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
