She and her husband of 68 years, Jerry, enjoyed working in Sunday School and visiting the homebound and hospitalized. Ann also enjoyed promoting family values by involving herself in political campaigns and working at the election polls. She was famous in her family for her wonderful cooking, cleaning, and sewing skills. Ann loved playing games with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and listening to them sing. They made her heart smile.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry; two daughters, Donna Johnson and husband Mickey of Fort Smith, Carolyn Moormann and husband John of Winston-Salem, NC; three sons, Jeffrey Wakefield and wife Alice of Albuquerque, NM, Phillip Wakefield and Michael Wakefield both of Fort Smith; and 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
