Barbara Culp Woodard Maxwell, age 76, died Wednesday March 1, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born in Fort Smith, AR on January 18, 1947 at St. Edward Hospital to Dudley Phillips Culp and Willis Maude Ward Culp.
She was predeceased by her parents, and husband, Earle Maxwell. Survivors include a sister, Carol (Randy) Robinson of Little Rock, AR; two sons, Lance (Lisa) Woodard of Fayetteville, AR, and Larry Edward Woodard Jr. of Fort Smith; grandson, Austin Cole Woodard of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Whitney Taylor Woodard of McKinney, TX; two step-grandsons, Brandon Scott Grissman of Virginia Beach, VA, and Tyler Steven Grissman of Fort Smith; niece, Barkley Beers of Fayetteville, and nephew Chase Robinson of Denver, CO.
Barbara was a dog, cat, and horse lover from an early age. She had a creative spirit and loved her family.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
