Betty Jane Fisher

Jane Fisher, 80 of Ft. Smith passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017. She was born July 3, 1936 in Letona, AR to the late Joseph and Mary Aaron. She was a member of Westark Church of Christ and a former school teacher for the Bryant Public School System. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Nana and was a force of Nature being actively involved in Mission Work, Women’s Leadership, and Children’s Ministries. She was an artist and painter.

Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Monday, February 27, 2017 at White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy; AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Ft. Smith.

Jane is survived by her husband Dr. Bob Fisher of the home; two daughters; Elizabeth A. Williams and her husband Dr. Timothy Williams of Lubbock, TX and Dr. Mary Leah Oman and her husband Trent of Coupeville, WA, four grandchildren; Alexandra Williams of Lubbock, TX; Aaron Pointon and her husband Jordan also of Lubbock, TX and Tessa and Grace Oman of Coupeville, WA; one brother Larry Joe Aaron and his wife Brenda of Searcy, and other extended family.
