

Bob was called to the ministry at the age of nineteen at his home church, Greenfield Assembly of God in Greenfield, AR. He was the former Pastor of Evangel Temple Assembly of God and was the youngest Pastor in Arkansas to be called to lead a Flagship Church. Bob retired from the ministry in 1998 having served as Pastor at Harvest Christian Church for ten years. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he loved to fish.
Bob is survived by his wife, Phyllis Gasaway; children, Kimberly Brannon Baker and John Brannon; Betty Gasaway, the mother of his children and dear friend; two daughters, Patricia Spencer, Sandra Higgs, and son, Anthony Gasaway; eleven grandchildren, Wade Dopps, Crystal Taylor, Kassie Burch, Michael Jett, Bobbie Jean Sosebee, Jessica Herod, Kelsey Davidson, Elizabeth Evans, Sara Gasaway, Cori and Tessa Baker; twelve great-grandchildren and two cousins, Jeresa Parton and Rita Barr.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 14, 2015, in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Park Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons: Wade Dopps, Michael Jett, Terry Sosebee, Greg Taylor, Josh Burch, and Dillon Dopps. Visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2015, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
