Bobby Dalton Fondren, 83, of Fort Smith, passed away on April 5, 2022. He was born on December 18, 1938 in Fort Smith, AR to Leo Fondren and Ezell Jones Fondren. Bobby received his Engineering Degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He retired from the United States Army as a Commander Sergeant Major. Bobby also spent many years working for Fondrens Ready Mix.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Rodney Fondren.
Bobby is survived by his brother, Ray Frondren and sister, Becky Sidler.
Graveside service will full military honors will be 3 PM, Monday, April 11, 2022 at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
