Bryant Ross

Bryant Ross, 82, of Fort Smith, passed away September 11, 2014. He was born May 9, 1932 in Lowell, Massachusetts to Thomas Ross and Marie Bryant Ross. He was a Maintenance Engineer with Graphic Packaging retiring after 30 years. Bryant loved spending time with his family and friends at Shoal Bay, camping, boating and fishing. He was everyone’s friend and he thoroughly enjoyed helping others, as he was 4H Leader for many years. Bryant loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He filmed every one of his granddaughters Ballet performances and he always stayed until all of the children performed. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, “Bert”; one daughter, Jean Ross of Fort Smith; two sons, Michael B. Ross of Bangkok Thailand and Jeffrey P. Ross of Bismarck, AR; one sister, Barbara Belanger of Malden, MA; and three grandchildren, Kristin Fowler and her husband Blaine, of Crossett, AR, Hannah and Nathan Ross, both of Irving, TX. Bryant is also survived by man’s best friend; his faithful companions Benji and Bailey. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16, 2014, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at Edwards Funeral Home.
