Carol Sue Tomak, 79, of Fort Smith, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was born on October 31, 1942 in Dry Branch, West Virginia to the late Carson and Annie Martin. Carol was a childcare worker; she loved God, children, her friends Patsy, Martha and many other friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Godby.
There are no services scheduled, she will be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Godby of Columbus, Ohio, Sandy McCrea of Fort Smith and Tonya Hiles of Lancaster, Ohio; one son, John Godby of Columbus, OH; one sister, Linda Richardson of Houston, Texas; one brother, Jess Martin of Columbus, Ohio and other siblings, deceased and living. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Ashley Godby, Nicholas Stanley, Amber McCarty, Jessica Mitchell, Erica Mitchell, Steven Guisinger and Louise Godby, along with several great grandchildren.
