He leaves behind his loving and faithful wife, Karen, of 50 years. His son Trine and his grandkids, Kathryn and Cade Warner; his great grandkids, Kyndall, Easton, and Keaton.

Charles was a Kappa Sigma at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he graduated with a business degree. After college, he worked in the auto parts business for many years and went on to work for Sunbelt Chemical until his retirement. He was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, brothers and friends, as well as teaching gun safety to Trine and Cade.
He also played a good game of golf. Charles loved the beach in Jamaica, looking for shells, the family’s yearly trips to Jamaica for his wife's birthday, and the Reggae Sumfest music festival.
Charles was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith, AR. He was a private and quiet man with a beautiful, sweet soul. A great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was the kindest, most generous and loving man.
He will be sorely missed. We loved him all our hearts and will miss him terribly.
Until we meet again. You are in our hearts.
There will be a private family service. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
