Christine Williams, 89, of Roland, Oklahoma passed from this life August 15, 2018 in Roland. She was born November 8, 1928, In Columbia Falls, Maine, to the late Gilbert and Mary Bailey. Christine was a member of First Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her daughter Sherry Hendrick of Roland; her son Gary Williams and his wife Jan of Fort Smith; a brother Richard Bailey of Columbia Falls, Maine; three grandchildren, Jody Fincher and his wife Amy, Brittany Cabrera and her husband Jay and Paislee Johnson and her husband Clay, as well as four great grandchildren, Evan, Cory, Baylee and Ashlynn Fincher. She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Williams; her parents; two brothers, Gilbert, Jr and Octave Bailey, as well as her sister, Janice Rush.
Funeral services will be 12:30pm Monday, August 20, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma with burial to follow at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00pm Sunday August 19, 2018 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
