

Dan Werley, 52, of Watauga, TX, formerly of Fort Smith, died after a lengthy illness May 31 in Watauga. He was born in Fort Smith to the late Victor and Margaret O’Brien Werley October 28, 1960. He worked for BNSF Railroad as a mainframe system operator. Dan loved singing in the church choir and was an avid bowler. He was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, TX.
Dan is survived by two brothers, Steve Werley and his wife Surennah , of Fort Smith and Jim Werley and his wife Debbie, of Burleson, TX and three sisters, Shannon Houston and her husband Gene, of Fort Smith, Molly Anderson and her husband Lewis, of Rudy and Katy Morris and her husband Jim, of Conway, AR.
A memorial mass will be 10:00AM, Monday, June 10 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial of cremains in Holy Cross Cemetery. Rosary will be said at 7:00PM, Sunday, June 9 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
