

Mr. Seaton was born May 28, 1955 in Fort Smith, and married Carol (Miller) Seaton in 1983. He served the community of Fort Smith as a Counselor at Darby Jr. High and Kimmons Junior High for a total of 39 years, as well as took on the roles as a coach, bus driver, and had a passion for helping others. He enjoyed spending his time with the Kiwanis Club of Fort Smith for several years. Mr. Seaton played basketball at Westark Community College and graduated with a Masters in Education at the University of Arkansas. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Mr. Seaton managed his illness with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time with his family, grandkids, and loved ones as possible. He enjoyed sports and being in the great outdoors. On his final day, he was surrounded by his spouse and his children, whom he adored more than anything else in the world.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Seaton; children Seth (Diane) Seaton, Kristin (Jennifer) Seaton-Rambo, and Brooke Seaton; two grandchildren, Aleksander and Oliver; his mother, Mary (Hagan) Seaton; two sisters, Cathy (Ronnie) Moore and Cindy Cagle; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Seaton was preceded in death by his father, D.P. William Seaton Sr. his brother, D.P. William Seaton Jr. and his nephews Brian Cagle and Keith Glenn.
Wake/Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 7 starting at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at Immaculate Conception Church at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn-Holy Cross Cemetery.
