Danny Lee Harris, 54, of Fort Smith, died November 28, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born September 13, 1959 in Petersburg, West Virginia to Gene Wilson and Arvella Lee Harris. He was retired from the U.S. Army and worked following retirement as a security guard.
He is survived by his mother, Arvella L. Axel of Maysville, West Virginia; three sisters, Elizabeth Ann Smith of Newcreek, West Virginia, Rebecca A. Compton of Romney, West Virginia, and Tammy S. Lewis of Petersburg, West Virginia; and his companion of 26 years Cheryl Holliman of Fort Smith.
Graveside service will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the U.S National Cemetery with Full Honors all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
